Workshops provide a 2-hour presentation on a variety of interesting topics suggested by members.
Short courses are more hands-on than the workshops. Short courses are generally taught in the classroom where all students have access to one of our PCs.
The Help Centre (weekly)
The Help Centre is set up to help those new to computers and those wishing to upgrade their skills or experiencing problems using their device. We offer one-to-one assistance in a cheerful, friendly environment and while we don’t have all the answers we can usually point you in the right direction.
Computer Owners Group – COG (monthly)
This users group is for computer users at all levels of experience. Come along and contribute, enjoy yourself and learn something new. The format is primarily a question and answer session, where we can all help each other to solve problems, simple or complex.
Apple MAC Group (monthly)
Come to this users group to learn about and share your knowledge of your MAC computer.
Third Monday of each month, 10am-12pm, Level 1 Room 12. Pre-registration is not required.
Android Smartphone & Tablets Group (monthly)
If you want to get the most out of your Android device, come to this user group.
Digital Cameras Special Interest Group (monthly)
Thinking of buying a digital camera? Want to take better pictures? Learn about your camera features? Edit and manage your pictures?
Each month a special speaker will take you through a topic of interest to digital camera users.
Questions and Answers Group – Q&A (monthly)
The format of this group is a quick run down on present and future technology developments of interest to SeniorNet members followed by a question and answer session, where we can all help each other to solve problems, simple or complex.
