The library has also teamed up with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa to provide Stepping UP; free computer & internet classes delivered in easy 2 hour steps in subjects relevant to your life and work; Better Digital Futures for Seniors for people aged 65+ to learn new skills and build confidence with computers and the internet; and Appy Seniors classes – helping seniors engage in the digital world using apps on their smartphones, tablets and computers. They also offer the low-cost and financially flexible connectivity initiative, Skinny Jump – prepay home broadband with no contract, no credit checks and no set-up charges.
