Mackenzie College & Community Library has teamed up with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa to offer Stepping UP – free computer & internet training in easy steps, relevant to your life and interests, in informal friendly classes.
Another service on offer is Jump, a pre-pay internet connection designed for families with children aged up to 18 who don’t have a current broadband connection at home, and whose household is in a 4G/4G700 coverage area.
Workshop participants receive a free Wi-Fi modem and their first 30GB of data is free. Top-ups are $10 for 30GB on a pre-pay service – there is no fixed contract required.
