Hastings District Libraries offers free public internet access for one hour per person per day; Online databases, eBooks and eAudiobooks available.
The library in Havelock North has also teamed up with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa to provide low-cost and financially flexible connectivity.
Jump is a pre-pay internet connection designed for families with children aged up to 18 who don’t have a current broadband connection at home, and whose household is in a 4G/4G700 coverage area.
Workshop participants receive a free Wi-Fi modem and their first 30GB of data is free. Top-ups are $10 for 30GB on a pre-pay service – there is no fixed contract required.
