Ka Pai Kaiti computer hub
Ka Pai Kaiti computer hub offers computer courses for everyone, at all levels of understanding, from beginners through to advanced. Initial focus (Dec. 2017) is on older people but the hub provides the whole community with education and connectivity and a homework club for young people is planned. The computer hub is a joint venture between Ka Pai Kaiti Trust and Tairawhiti Technology Trust.

TaiTech – Tairāwhiti Technology Trust
Tairāwhiti Technology (TaiTech) educate and empower people in the Gisborne region to become capable, creative and confident life-long learners. TaiTech supports technology-based learning facilities located in communities with high levels of deprivation and limited access to new technology. They are committed to supporting communities around the region to establish “drop-in” technology centres that allow local people to learn about anything computer related.
A partner of the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa, TaiTech deliver the Spark Jump initiative – pre-pay broadband with no contract, no credit checks, no set-up charges, for families with children.
