impactNPO (Auckland)
impactNPO get IT volunteers (you) with a wide range of skills to come in and help local charities and not for profit organisations (NPOs) with their IT challenges.
We do this through running fun, high-energy and impact weekend Charity Hackathons events. On Friday evening, NPOs do a pitch about what they do and what their issues are, then volunteers form self-organising teams around an NPO of their choice. The teams then have a goal for the weekend to produce something useful.

RaWiri Residents’ Association
RaWiri Residents’ Association provides community services and facilities from the Rata Vine Community House that are beneficial for the residents of Rata Vine, Wiri and the wider Community.
Services include the Neighbourhood Policing Team who touch base with the community leaders at the Community House, the local MP for Manurewa holds a weekly clinic in the house; after school computer center and homework programme, training of volunteers and co-ordination of the RaWiri Safety Patrol, cooking classes to provide healthy meals on a low income and continued development of the community garden.
