    Clubhouse Whanganui (formerly Awa City Clubhouse) is a creative, safe, out-of-school learning place where young people from our community work with adult mentors to explore their ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence through using technology and music. Open Mon – Fri 3pm – 7pm term time and 1pm – 5pm school holidays. Free for 10 – 18 year-olds! Run by Nga Tai O te Awa (NTOTA).

  • Hakeke Street Community Centre Digital Inclusion Orgn.

    Whanganui District Library, in partnership with the Whanganui Advocacy and Support Trust (WAST) community centre, operate the Hakeke Street Library in Whanganui East.

    The library is self-service, with WAST staff providing basic assistance for library members during opening hours (9.00am-1.00pm weekdays, except Wednesdays).

    The WAST team joined forces with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa to offer Skinny Jump – prepay broadband with no contract, no credit checks and no set-up charges.
