Coderdojo Nelson
CoderDojo is a volunteer led, global, free club, giving girls and boys from 7 to 14 the opportunity to learn computer coding in a fun and friendly environment. We meet on Wednesdays at NMIT from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Family Start Nelson
Family Start is homebased programme for families with children aged 0 – 12 months, who are experiencing complex issues that impact on their parenting. It provides practical advice, support and parenting education and Spark Jump .
Spark Jump is a low-cost prepay broadband with no contract, no credit checks, no set-up charges for families with children up to 18 years old who don’t currently have a broadband connection at home, and whose household is in a 4G/4G700 coverage area.
Spark Jump workshop participants receive a free WI-FI Modem and their first 30GB of data is free. Top-ups are $10 for 30GB on a prepay service – there is no fixed contract required.
