Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa
The Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa (DIAA) purpose is: to work collaboratively with Alliance Partners in delivering digital inclusion programmes to their communities; pursue funding for inclusion initiatives; provide a forum for sharing information, tools and resources, outcome metrics and results; be a voice for digitally under-served and disadvantaged communities; and promote a joined-up whole-of-community approach in pursuing a more digitally included society.
The Alliance also coordinates the Stepping UP, Skinny Jump and Better Digital Futures for Seniors programmes.

Digital Seniors
Technology helps with many common issues for seniors, including loneliness, lack of mobility, and deteriorating health. But many seniors are threatened by technology. Digital Seniors helps seniors learn and use technology.
We bring together volunteers to provide Wairarapa seniors with free personalised one-on-one coaching. We bring communities together to build digital inclusion and empowerment of their seniors. We work together with businesses, councils and community initiatives, we train volunteers, and manage an 0800 phone support. We work with government to close the senior digital divide.

Digital Seniors programme (Hawke’s Bay)
The Digital Seniors computer literacy programme from the Positive Ageing Trust gives older people in Hawke’s Bay an opportunity to learn computer skills that enable them to stay connected to their family members and their friends. Courses are elderly friendly, and tailored and paced for each small group of participants.

impactNPO (Wellington)
impactNPO get IT volunteers (you) with a wide range of skills to come in and help local charities and not for profit organisations (NPOs) with their IT challenges.
We do this through running fun, high-energy and impact weekend Charity Hackathons events. On Friday evening, NPOs do a pitch about what they do and what their issues are, then volunteers form self-organising teams around an NPO of their choice. The teams then have a goal for the weekend to produce something useful.
